Recipe
- Add your base powder (cornstarch/arrowroot/rice) into a small mixing bowl.
- Add a small amount of your chosen colorant (beetroot, annatto, madder root) into the base.
- Mix thoroughly to break up any clumps and achieve a uniform blend.

- Optionally, add a tiny bit of charcoal if you want to darken or tone down brightness.
- Transfer the finished mixture into a jar with a tight lid and store it.

Rose Petal Powder Blush
A soft, romantic blush made with fresh or dried roses and starch, which gives a delicate pink tint with a floral scent.
Ingredients
- Fresh or dried dark pink/red rose petals
- Cornstarch (or arrowroot as an alternative)
Recipe
- Take rose petals and grind them finely using a mortar & pestle (or in a spice grinder) until they’re a fine powder.
- In a bowl, mix the powdered rose petals with a small amount of cornstarch. Start with less starch than petals.
- Continue adding cornstarch gradually until the mixture becomes a powdery blush consistency.
- Since fresh petals can introduce moisture, dry the blush mixture in a low-heat oven: preheat to about 120 °F (50 °C), switch off the heat, then let the blush dry for ~2 hours to avoid browning.
- Store the dry blush powder in a sealed jar. Use a blush brush to apply lightly to cheeks.

A rich, creamy blush that blends skin-loving botanicals and natural pigments for a soft, buildable flush. Perfect for dry or normal skin types.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon shea butter
- ½ teaspoon beeswax pellets
- 1 tablespoon aloe gel
- ½ to 1 teaspoon cocoa powder (to warm the tone)
- ½ to 1 teaspoon pink sweet potato powder (for the blush tint)

- Gently heat and stir until both melt completely into a smooth liquid.
